Where has the time gone? « Thread Started on Nov 25, 2007, 1:46am »
I haven't been here in forever, I apologize. Life really got in the way. I was working over night for Wal-mart, and attending uni from 7 until noon home work till 5pm then bed and up again at 8pm for work......yeesh.
I quite my job back in may but went on to take 18 hrs of schooling this semester. And I'm having some other issues but I totally miss this site...my dolling's gotten better and i have a new site http://freewebs.com/golden-wolf-fantasy with my bff's Lil Starling (a poet/photographer) and Autumn Star (a poet/doller...she did start here but had to drop out due to time restraints.)
Now besides schooling and dolling there are two things that take up most of my time, web designing (check out one of the sites i designed at http://freewebs.com/jarrodsterrett ) the singer/song writer is a friend from uni (and the guy i'm absolutely in love with lol)
the other thing is activism. I finally got my campaign's website up and running http://freewebs.com/dontkeepsilent and for the past week my focus has been on solely the fight against rape/abuse/violence...
well there is one more thing that takes up a lot of my time that would be volunteering. I work as an assistant youth minister at the local catholic church i attend. I work with a total of 60 boys and girls from ages 13-18. Its loads of fun! Recently they were the ones to get me to help lead them in choir... yup them and the other youth ministers i work with. I had given up singing a year and a half ago when i lost half the hearing in my right ear due to blunt force trauma... But the kids had a lot more faith in me than i did... and the other ministers join in lifting my spirts and working with me musically. Now I sing solo some times for very tiny performances usually with just friends, but some other friends and i may be getting a group together we'll see 2 weekends from now
So now that I've rambled on about my life... How is everyone else?

I'm still here too. My computer broke for about a month and a half but now we have a new on so i'm on the internet everyday .
I started college in September. Doing my A-levels (the qualifications you sit aged 16-18, if you choose to stay in full-time education). I take Psychology, Law, History and for some fun..Photography (you can only take 4 subjects).
Getting ready for Christmas. Shopping and what-not.
Apart from college and christmas, I don't really have anything else going on.

I've attacked my second year at uni, and it's a lot tougher than the first. I'm studying English language and history, and I'm pleased to see that I finally see what I want to specialize into : British History <3 I love American history too, but well, I'm a sucker for medieval
I'm also working on obtaining a place on the Erasmus program, to go to an English University. I would have loved going to Wales, but no places were proposed.
I'm also preparing for Christmas, although I've only began a diet, the shopping will come at a much later time.
